This Brite Source SOLO 7 All-in-One LED Downlight offers you the chance to upgrade your traditional household lighting with long-lasting, multi-functional LED technology. The Brite Source SOLO 7 Downlight features three switchable colour temperatures that you can choose between. With a simple flick of a switch located underneath the unit’s magnetic white bezel (covering) on the unit’s fascia (outside face), you can choose between a warm white, cool white or daylight colour.

The lumen output of this 7W multi-function LED downlight depends on which colour temperature setting has been selected: at 3000K (warm white), the lumen output is 520 lms; at 4000K (cool white), the lumen output is 600 lms; and at 6000K (daylight), the lumen output is 530 lms. The unit’s fascia (casing) is highly protective against the bulb and wiring, achieving an IP65 enclosure rating, meaning: ‘"dust tight" and protected against water projected from a nozzle’.

This lighting unit is suitable for use in Zones 1 & 2 bathrooms and complies fully with regulations. The Brite Source SOLO 7 can be used with any quality trailing edge dimmer (maximum fittings per circuit: 20). This Brite Source downlight’s physical dimensions are: 57mm x 82mm x 82mm, not including the driver. This compact design should benefit a simple installation in shallow ceiling voids. The fitting is designed to work in temperatures between -30°c – +35°c but a cooler environment is optimal to prolong the LED’s lifespan.

The Brite Source SOLO 7 also offers great economical and environmental benefits, having an average lamp life of 50,000 hours and able to achieve 100,000 switch cycles.
