We always advise changing both globes at the same time as if one globe has failed its likely the second globe will fail shortly after. 5 D2R Globe for Subaru XV

Excellent price promptly dispatched and arrived within a week to Aust from the UK. OK with that. Replaced the RHS as it was the one that had failed. The car is 6 yrs old now and we like to use the low beams at all times and we have clocked up nearly 93,000 kms. The LHS fitting is very close to one of the front bulkheads making it difficult to remove the 1/8 turn rear plastic cap. A couple of thin flimsy plastic finger grips have snapped off so I will either replace the cap or put a couple of bolts though to give something to grip when putting back together again. When I have replaced the second, I will tuck it away as a spare. Subaru wanted AUS5ea plus fitting and this pair of Phillips globes arrived for under 0 delivered. Gotta be happy with that!

Ok, just got 2 of these replaced. Speedy delivery and received in exactly 7 days time ;-) So far, very bright and as described. Only concern is the stated voltage on site is listed as 42V but on the box its stated as 80V, so not sure how that might affect my HID system

Our reply:
Please accept our apologies as the voltage stated on our web site was an typing error and has now been amended. HID bulbs run from control units (ballasts) The output to the bulb is controlled by the ballast to maintain the wattage. The nominal output voltage from the ballast is around 85V for D1 and D2 types. For D3 and D4 this is 42V. As the bulb is controlled by the ballast, the voltage will not affect the HID system.
