Night-breaking light



The light produced by OSRAM's Xenarc Night Breaker Unlimited range is 5% whiter than a standard Xenon HID. Installing the range to your vehicle will therefore result in a more comfortable drive, as the 4350K colour temperature produces a bright beam that helps you to stay more awake and alert.



OSRAM's range of high pressure gas discharge lamps are setting new standards in terms of light quantity, cost efficiency and service life. Xenarc lamps are only approved for use if your vehicle uses Xenon bulbs. The lamps may be replaced by a trained auto-electrician due to the high voltage of these bulbs.



Like all lamps, we recommend changing the OSRAM Xenarc Night Breaker Unlimited in pairs. Add two to your basket for an evenly matched colour and beam pattern.

Excellent bulbs and a great price shipped to the US! I have noticed a dim spot about 15 feet out in the middle of the car, but that may be my housings.
Owners of 2007-2009 (mkV) VW GTI's...make sure that the indents on the beige ring of the igniter are aligned properly! If you ensure that, this is a 5-10 minute job.

Firstly, great job PB on getting this to me so quickly. UK to the middle of Canada in a week. It was superbly secured in the box with lots of bubble wrap around it.
These bulbs went into a 2006 Acura TSX and were a perfect fit. I replaced a bulb that was dead and after doing so, I compared the light output to the OEM on the driver's side. The difference was astounding. I looked down at the light output right at the projector and well, you could tell the major difference in intensity. To be fair, my OEM bulb was almost 11 years old (bought the card in Dec '05.) I had also used it as my daytime running lights though I hadn't driven my car much in the past 2-3 years.
I had looked at getting the Philips Xtreme vision but for the price and features, this was just the better choice for my pocket book. At night, the bulbs are much brighter than my originals although I can't really confirm the +20m distance claim.
This was going to be CDN$237 for the bulbs, $186 for the dealership to install them, and taxes on top. Great price via PB.

First, on-line ordering process is simple and fast, so full marks there. Second, dispatch (shipping) was prompt and time en-route was very good, though the postal service in Canada took far longer to get it to me. Third, goods were genuine in original packaging and as advertised. Fourth, and unfortunately, I used the on-line fitment guide which identified the incorrect product. BAH! Fifth, and quite importantly, the PB customer service was great, and accepted the return just like they say they will. Last, I ordered again, this time after making certain exactly what was needed. Massive Improvement in night time visibility

I bought these bulbs for my '55-plate MINI that was suffering with very poor lighting performance. Upon removal of the old bulbs, I noticed they were unbranded 8000k items - very blue, and utterly useless at lighting the road ahead. These new items have run for about 20 hrs so far and becoming whiter (they were slightly yellow to start with). I can now see where I am going - without total dependence on full-beam.
One point to note, the bulb selector does not take you to D2S for my car, but this is the correct type (I was advised D2R, as does the Haynes manual...)
The bulbs are excellent, although not especially cheap. However given the performance of the old bulbs, they are worth paying the extra for. delivery was quick, and service (other than advised incorrect bulbs) was excellent.

These bulbs replaced the oem bulbs in my car. They are definitely brighter than stock (20-30%, not the advertised 70%) They are on the yellowish side but that doesn't really bother me as i value performance first over appearance. Buy from powerbulbs since they sell authentic genuine osram bulbs and forget ebay since it is plagued with counterfeits.

The brightness of the bulbs is good, about 25% more than standard as mentioned by others but the cut-off is not sharp even compared to standard Philips. Osram could improve on the focus. As always, Philips is more pricy than Osram spec to spec and you get what you pay for.

These are definitely brighter than stock Philips 85122 on my Audi! You get what is described on the box, except maybe not 70% brighter, but good 25% for sure! They are yellowish, especially right after first installed, but after about 5-8 hours I noticed that the temperature "cooled" down a bit. However don't expect white light from these - it's more like bright and warm sun light.

Was put onto powerbulbs through a friend and was extremely impressed by the range and the delivery. Bought the bulbs for a fraction of the price they are here in Melbourne and they are much much better than the standard bulbs in the WRX.
