5 Picasso c3 headlight upgrade

I purchased these bulbs (H1 and H7) for my Citroen Picasso C3. I am giving this car to my son and daughter in May, they do not live local or know anything about cars. If a bulb goes out they can get someone to fit them. Having used these myself on another vehicle( worked brilliantly) in the past, plus excellent reviews, this would help them.

5 Philips X-Treme Vision H1

I have dealt with Power Bulbs for years and always trust their products. My recent purchase of Philips X-Treme Vision H1 lives up to their name ;o) I have fitted them in the high bean positions of our 2018 Renault Captur 1.2 Turbo to replace the abysmal originals......bloomin' marvellous, good spread and penetration with an extra 50% down the road. These match the X-Treme Vision H7's I installed a few months ago and now provide excellent lighting without going to the expense of LED's.

5 As Good As Halogen Gets!

These Philips X-treme Visions certainly are likely to be as good a Halogen bulb as you can fit without choosing a bulb with a much shorter life span, such as the Racing Visions. They are truly very white too. White enough to come back to Powerbulbs and look for a similar quality 501 side light bulb to match. Ordinary Halogens may last longer but, even if they do, they're also likely to become more and more yellow as the Halogen gradually leaks out as it always does eventually. H1 and H7 versions of these are now in my Ford Galaxy and my wife's Audi A3. I now intend to fit more of these to our KAWASAKI bikes.

3 Great bulbs average packaging

Have just changed over the bulbs and they are much better. Only issue is having them sent through the post. Philips packaging allows the bulbs to come free pretty easily. This means they rattle around and could be broken. Ours weren't. I ordered some other Philips bulbs a few months ago and the same thing happened to them.

Overall happy with my purchase. Price was great, even shipped all the way to Australia. Product works well and provides a whiter light than the factory bulb it replaces. PowerBulbs packed the delivery well, but Philips product packaging leaves a bit to be desired; one of the bulbs was loose in the packaging when it arrived. Also the package looked to have been treated roughly in transit, despite the FRAGILE marking. Nothing PowerBulbs can really do about these issues, of course.

Definitely brighter, only that I wish the light colour could be a bit 'whiter'. A shortcoming about the delivery was that 1 of the bulb came loose inside the twin-pack box during delivery, imagine the bulb flip-flop and somersaulting knocking on each other inside the box to travel for 10 thousands km... It was fortunate that both the bulbs didn't break and still functioning, just that I wouldn't sure will it affect their lifespan. Maybe powerbulbs should consider inserting some sponge or bubble wrap inside the box to prevent such incident from happening again. The part that I like most about powerbulbs is the free worldwide delivery, 12 months warranty and of course the discount!

5 Excellent brightness

I replaced my headlight bulbs with these when one blew, only to find there was a problem elsewhere with the headlight. This meant that I had to drive for a time with only one of these working. Just the 1 working alone was that bright from behind the wheel that I could almost forget that there was only 1 working.

These arent at all 'modern' colored. Dont expect a new 'crisp white' color because its not there. What is there, is a very long throw and a very bright natural light. The 130% is misleading, its a minor difference, but that minor difference puts them in the 'brightest bulbs ive seen' category (for a fillament bulb). Would buy again, but would genuinely consider the WhiteVison next time.

Fitted to 2008 Honda CRV, where previous dipped headlights completely useless, has made some improvement whilst driving in town traffic where most street lights now being white you do not notice a great difference. However out in the countryside what an amazing difference, don't really need main beam, they are that good. Wish I had fitted them ages ago.

Recommended. Bought to upgrade lighting on my 8 year old Kia Carens MPV. Certainly the white light gives a clearer view of the road ahead without the expense or unsociable consequences of Xenon sources. However the whiter light does offer more glare in misty conditions. Also, headlamp bulbs today are a lot less easy to fit than years ago. Make sure you can access the bulbs yourself before purchase.Excellent service from PowerBulbs.

A shade whiter than the existing Narva 100W spot globes however, the +130's are fainter than the 100w Narvas with not the same 'power or punch'. 'Took the +130's out & refitted the 100w Narvas in my spots. 'Had to try them, wont be using them.

Well my bulbs just arrived by mail today, it has been almost 6 weeks since my original order and after 4 weeks I contacted Power Bulbs and told them of my issue. They confirm my information and told me my new bulbs had most likely been lost in transit, they then arranged to resend them. I just installed making sure they were not broken as in transport they became lose in the package and had been bouncing around. It is daytime here so I couldn't say for certain but I think they are brighter then factory lights, I will update when I know more. I do want to give props to the folks at Power bulbs they have earned my business and I will order again.

4 Superb Bulbs

I have been using the Phillips X treme Visions headlight bulbs now for over 2 years and am extremely impressed by the quality of the light they produce. A much longer throw on dipped beam with a wide angle as well. My only criticism is that they do not last as long as conventional bulbs, probably due to the higher temperature that they burn at ?. I cover about 25000 miles per annum and get through 2 pairs of them in a year. Not cheap but the price is well worth it when I consider that I feel much safer with better vision.. Highly recommended

4 Big improvement

Bought for an E36 BMW 3 series - the bulbs the previous owner used were pretty poor and where I live is very dark at night. I could barely see 20 yards ahead without full beam. Changed to these bulbs and even though they're H1 the difference is huge - much brighter beam, crisper edges and the throw is much better. Not perfect but a great value improvement to the car and night time driving.

Just wanted to share comparison pics. Car is 2010 Honda CRV. Before: one Philips Ecovision and one cheap Osram. 5 Excellent bulb

First time purchaser of the Philips X-treme Vision +130% but it has been an excellent bulb so far in my 2004 Jaguar X-Type with a nice strong beam. Marginally brighter than both Osram Nightbreaker Plus and Nighbreaker Unlimited that i've had in the car in the past. I'm hoping for better longevity than the Osrams as the Plus' failed at 14 months of usage (~1hr/day) and the Unlimited's failed recently after just 11 months of usage, we'll see how we go in 12 months time.

I ordered my Powerbulbs replacement lamps for my 9 year old Jaguar X type estate, the difference is amazing, I am fairly sure the original bulbs had lost power - one was really discoloured when removed - but the difference is amazing. Before at dusk - I was sometimes unsure if I had the dipped headlights on or not - most other cars were brighter - but now the new bulbs are clearly working great and as soon as dusk approaches I can see right away now good they are - and for driving in the dark - I am pretty sure these are better than the originals when they were new.

Bought those for my 2010 CRV, Europe version. Before had Philips LongLife´s in, which where not bad. Definitely makes a difference! I guess price and up to 400H life time might be considered down side. But if you want to squeeze maximum out of your lamps with out messing with HID then definitely worth trying. Thinking to buy set for high beams as well.

5 VERY QUICK SHIPPING

I bought them in order to replace the previous Phillips Xtreme Vision +100% but to tell the truth i cannot understand if they are better than the previous.The important thing is that i am impressed of the quick shipping (1 week to ship in Greece). I will definitely buy again from Powerbulbs.

Good service, well packaged, quick delivery. However, the free bulbs you get are not the ice white type which was a nice styling addition on previous orders. I have previously had those and this swung my decision to use this website. Now the bulbs are just standard bulbs, I may look elsewhere if the cost is right. Who wants free standard bulbs?

Excellent bulbs, so bright. Wrapped and posted quickly to Australia in less than 2 weeks. The only issue was that the bulbs were not secure inside the factory plastic package. They were loose in the way they would being thrown every where if I shook the package. Come on Phillips, for such a price a better packaging is expected.

I was originally going to fit hids in my Honda Accord but after fitting these latest Philips lamps im not going to bother and i have since upgraded my high beam to the same lamps. These +130 are very impressive giving a much whiter light than standard halogen and excellent range and im also thinking about buying a spare pair!

5 Great bulbs from a great company

I bought my Philips X-treme Vision H1 lamps about a month ago. There was a shipping problem which the company resolved very quickly and favourably. Having fitted these lamps to my vehicle (Honda Accord), I am very impressed with the crisp white light, and well focussed light beam. Definitely worth the money and the wait.
