These are the second set I've had. Lasted about two years. Good bright, white light. Seem to give the best light you can expect from a traditional 9003 (HB2/H4) light. Worth the extra. Service also excellent from Powerbulbs and free side light bulbs are useful as existing ones were starting to get coated internally and lose their brightness.

4 Extreme Vision

Purchased a set of these bulbs recently much brighter than the standard dipped beam on my 12 month old VW Passat although replacing is a little tricky on the headlamp fitting due to limited space . Delivery was excellent from power bulbs and arrived day after ordering .Great service!

5 Awesome bulb running in Portugal!

Last year i've bought a blue tinted bulbs. the great mistake... A few days ago I went to a shop and bought Philips X-Treme Vision. what a difference. I haven't drove at night but during rainy days and tunnels I can notice a great great improve. Surely a good bulb to buy and my 1988 Corolla loves :P

Can't rate these lamps high enough, same power requirements as the standard 9003 (HB2/H4) lamp but far brighter. Won't fit anything else. Fitted a set to my car, wife made me get a set on hers, need I say more!

5 Massive difference over a standard bulb

I bought these in the hope that I'd get something giving me much more visibility than I was getting. The bulbs I did have were about as standard as you can get I think so I hoped these would be much different. These are certainly visibly brighter from the drivers' seat & made the early morning driving around country lanes much easier - even without full beam. Well worth the extra money over a standard bulb.

4 seeing the light...

I read a review of Philips X-treme bulbs in the Sunday Times and thought I would try them as the standard lights on my 2012 defender were not great. Powerbulbs tech team resolved a problem about which bulb was correct for the car (LandRover hand book was wrong!)I have now been using them since January and am delighted, more throw of light and better intensity. Well worth the money for a simple and legal up-grade.

5 To HID .... or .... not to HID

I was wanting to improve the headlight output of my Toyota Prado as I have a set of HID spotties fitted (which you need in Oz for spotting kangaroo's and goats lurking on the road ahead) but when I changed from main beam to dipped beam for oncoming traffic it was like turning off the lights altogether. I was considering fitting an illegal HID set up to the headlamps, then I read reports on the Phillips X-treme Vision bulb and decided to give them a go, WOW, am I glad I did, I now have brilliant bright headlight's that are LEGAL so Mr Plod can't get his little book out to add my name to all the other illegal HID headlight users....I would defiantly recommend these to anyone who want's to improve and increase the lighting distance of their vehicle. Also a very quick delivery time from UK to Australia. 10 out of 10 to Powerbulbs.

5 Best thing this side of xenons?

Am currently on my 3rd set of these bulbs. With the onset of the dark winter months, I am always reminded how good these really are. They provide much whiter lighting, and the subjective feel is that you see better (I have not tested this lighting a reflector, but...) the road ahead is bathed in white light, compared to yellowish murk on normal H4s in my car (and old Nissan Micra).Also the road (subkjectively) seems to soak much less of the light from these bulbs. I will never again drive with normal H4s during the dark winter months here in Norway.

5 Live these bulbs

These bulbs make a huge difference. I have a 2012 Honda CRV, and was extremely disappointed when I bought it new and the light output was terrible. I have tried PIAA bulbs, specifically the Night Techs. There was little to no difference. These Xtreme Vision bulbs make a significant difference. They are quite a bit brighter, and are as close to white as any bulb I've seen.

I purchased a twin pack of the Philips X-treme Vision 9003 (HB2/H4) bulbs from Powerbulbs, and my order arrived superfast in perfect condition. After installing the bulbs, I was surprised at how much brighter they were in comparison to the dull and yellowed halogens they replaced, and couldn't be happier with my purchase. 3 Worked ok for 2 years

Had these bulbs for 2 years and they certainly product a whiter light than the standard bulbs. Unfortunately, both bulbs blew at the same time, which of course I discovered in the dark! Always carry spares!

5 Philips X-treme Vision 9003 (HB2/H4) is very impressive

I installed the Philips X-treme headlamps a few weeks ago so I can't yet comment on durability but they certainly work as well as advertised. These halogens are extremely bright and provide a very nice white light which is very effective in bad weather. This is not a blue tinted bulb which hinders performance in bad weather but only with a reflective tip. This is by far the best and brightest 9003 (HB2/H4) halogen money can buy. Trust me, you can do the research yourself.

3 Not A Great Choice If You Have Upgraded Bulbs Before Now

The only noticeable difference between this bulb and my previous Philips X-treme Power bulb was when using the high beam. I also noted this beam was harder to notice on surface water. Unfortunately both Philips bulb sets have had one bulb blow (opposite sides of the car) so only lasted a single year. Over a standard bulb, this is a great improvement offering a crisp white light and superior visibility. Recommended if you're coming from stock - but I'd look elsewhere if you have an aftermarket bulb and are looking for an improvement.

5 Extreme vision 9003 (HB2/H4) in India

Today I got the extreme vision 9003 (HB2/H4) installed on my Hyundai i20. Just went for a test drive. Clearly this is way better than the stock bulb which I have been using for the last 2 years. Here in India, a pair of bulbs cost INR 1200 (approx. 15 pounds).
