Auto Express magazine review of Philips X-treme Vision

Philips' innovation and investment in research and development is well known in the automotive lighting industry. Over the years they have continued to innovate, from 30% brighter bulbs such as Philips Vision (formerly Premium), through to 50-60% brigher bulbs in the Vision Plus range, then advancing to 80% more light through Philips X-treme Power.

The latest product in the range is Philips X-treme Vision which offers 100% more light than standard, delivering an incredible amount of light output to maximise safety and comfort for drivers at night.

Auto Express' annual headlight bulb test rewarded this investment and engineering with their 'Best Buy' award in November 2011. They said:

"Precise positioning of the filament explains the performance of the plus 100 per cent X-tremeVision. Every bulb is inspected, which is why it’s so pricey. But it pays off, with a bright hot spot nearly 75 metres away."
