Auto Express Review - BEST BUY, November 2011
"Precise positioning of the filament explains the performance of the plus 100 per cent X-tremeVision. Every bulb is inspected, which is why it’s so pricey. But it pays off, with a bright hot spot nearly 75 metres away."
X-treme Vision has now replaced the multi award winning Xtreme Power. The original X-treme power gained itself an excellent reputation by winning the ‘Best Buy’ award in Auto Express between 2007 and 2010. This was given due to it’s performance and endurance. The new Xtreme Vision now gives 100% light on the road, 20% more than its predecessor which gave 80%.
The bulbs are fully road legal and no adaptations or modifications need to be to your vehicle. The bulbs are directly interchangeable with your existing bulbs and are just a straight exchange.
X-Treme Vision use a halogen/xenon gas mix and a refined design of the filament. The xenon gas is a very efficient and produces a brighter, whiter light than when halogen gas alone is used. This means that the bulbs have a greater output of light on the road. The bulbs are all standard wattage, this means that they are completely safe to use with plastic lenses and they are fully road legal.
To meet the demand for unique lighting generated by custom car enthusiasts, we have created ExtremeVision, the brightest homologated, non-discharge lamp on the market today.
For those who won't settle for anything but maximum racing performance, the X-tremeVision lamp lights up the road further than any other lamp on the market and it's equally long lifetime ensures that you'll only stop when you want to.
The new X-Plosive concentrate of technology:

The only noticeable difference between this bulb and my previous Philips X-treme Power bulb was when using the high beam. I also noted this beam was harder to notice on surface water. Unfortunately both Philips bulb sets have had one bulb blow (opposite sides of the car) so only lasted a single year. Over a standard bulb, this is a great improvement offering a crisp white light and superior visibility. Recommended if you're coming from stock - but I'd look elsewhere if you have an aftermarket bulb and are looking for an improvement.

Today I got the extreme vision H4 installed on my Hyundai i20. Just went for a test drive. Clearly this is way better than the stock bulb which I have been using for the last 2 years. Here in India, a pair of bulbs cost INR 1200 (approx. 15 pounds).

Jut got the Bulbs for my Bull and it's amazed me with the performance at first i got it wrong and my high wasn't working but got the connection right and it's doing wonders. Thanks but the same is cheaper here in India a pair costed me Rs1200.00. So, that's a great saving.

These bulbs make such a difference. Not the cheapest but you can't put a price on safety.
