Philips Blue Vision Bulbs have been around for many years and have always been renowned for their quality and styling effect. The Blue Vision range have now been improved upon to deliver the New Blue Vision Ultra range. A new blue coating has been applied to the bulbs and they now have more of a distinctive, but subtle blue look in the headlight than before, but still deliver a crisp, ice white light on the road.

Are they legal to use and do I need to modify my vehicle?

These bulbs are fully road legal. No changes or adaptations need to be made to your vehicle to use this product. Simply remove the bulbs you are currently using and replace with the Blue Vision Ultra.

How does the product generate more light when the wattage is standard and are they safe to use on plastic lenses?

Philips spend thousands of Euros each year in developing and engineering their products.

To achieve a greater light output on the road, Blue Vision Ultra bulbs use a halogen/xenon gas mix. Xenon gas is an extremely efficient gas and delivers a greater level of light output than when using halogen gas alone. This means that no extra heat is generated, making the bulbs totally safe to use with modern plastic lenses. The bulbs are standard wattage and are fully road legal.

A "longer lasting" blue light

Any car driver would prefer to have daylight 24 hours a day. Daylight gives the best visibility. That is why Philips developed Blue Vision Ultra lamps. Blue Vision lamps are car lamps with a blue coating. This blue coating creates a daylight type of light (closer to Xenon).

The whitest light at up to 4000° Kelvin
